The Gratitude of a Nation
You never knew me, or my family, yet I owe my life, freedom, and everything I enjoy to you. I am a student at Gridley High school in Gridley, Illinois. Our social science teacher has assigned us the task of posting remembrances on this wall in order to ensure that those who fought and sacrificed for us would be shown our gratitude, as well as the gratitude of the nation.
