From Jim Mingey - Neighbor

Sorry it was you my friend. I won’t ever forget you or the joy of our youth. I was one of the ones who got back due to the bravery of others. Love to you and your family.

D not stand at my Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

You were brave til the end.

I was one of the platoon medics on the ground when you crashed. I was helped up on the side of the helicopter and climbed into the chopper to help. I could not help you. You died bravely. I salute you. You were a very courageous soldier.
