The Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall came to my small town today. I asked my brother, "who shall I visit at the Wall", and your name came up. E32, L63. I took a rubbing of your name. Then I asked how I could see the face of this American hero. I will get to know you as much as possible. I owe you that. Thank you seems so inadequate for your sacrifice. Rest safely now in the arms of our loving God.

Dear Sp4 Timothy Kennedy, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Thanksgiving is in a few days, so this is the perfect time to say thanks. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I was Tim's platoon leader. He was a remarkable guy and a great soldier. We wept when he died. I still remember the day like it was yesterday. Please accept my consolence for your great loss
