Your Angel Day
On this your angel day I humbly give thanks for your service and sacrifice and with honor I leave you this poem . . .
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Remembering
I am a senior at Gridley High School, in Gridley, IL. As part of a
history project, I am creating remembrances for those brave souls
who fought and died during the Vietnam War. I want to take this
opportunity to thank Freddie Joe Keeley for all of his efforts. His
courage and loyalty to his country is inspiring, and I am extremely
proud of him. Thank you, Freddie, and God Bless.
