ADVENT IS HERE, AND CHRISTMAS IS APPROACHING. WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOU. THE NEW YEAR IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER, WHICH MAKES IT FAR TOO LONG FOR YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE SAINTS AND ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE.

Another Memorial Day, brother and I am missing and remembering you on this special day as I do every day of the year.
Although my sadness never leaves me, I am so very proud of you and the great sacrifice you made for our country.
Just a word also that your sister, Linda and brother, David are also carrying memories of you.

This Memorial Day Weekend, we remember PFC Bartley as a patriot who gave all for freedom and liberty. May we live our lives in such a way as to be worthy of his sacrifice.

I was with you on March 19,1969. You were very brave. I love you, miss you, and I pray for you every day. RIP my friend.
