Silver Star Medal Award

Captain Everett Dennis Keaton was awarded the Silver Star Medal, with Oak Leaf Cluster, for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Infantry Unit Commander and was assigned to D CO, 6TH BN, 31ST INFANTRY, 9TH INF DIV.
