Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from Doc Sheehy and many others who knew you are moving and reflect their admiration and respect for you. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Old Neighborhood

Remembering the Keating family this Veterans Day. Was reading about the project linking the Wall with photos of the soldiers lost today. Tragic loss when one thinks of how so much life we have had since those childhood days and how you were robbed. Thanks.

Still remember

A wonderful person. I still remember his skills and the good times we shared on the Cohasset HS baseball team. I still remember to visit his name on the Vietnam Memorial every time I am in DC. Such a tragic waste. Nori Geary CHS '65

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Allen Keating, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I did the research on him on his 50th anniversary. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Veterans’ Day is next week. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering you Allen

Allen each year I go home to Cohasset to march in the Memorial Day parade as a Viet Nam Veteran I think of you. You see, I joined the Army as a nurse right out of MGH nursing school because you had to go - and what could be of more purpose than to care for those like you who had to go to war. Your friendship growing up in Cohasset was special to me and will always be remembered.
