honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I am from Holmes, PA near PMC (now Widener University) and remember when it was solely a military college.

I knew 1LT Aldrich
First met CADET lt Robert Aldrich in August 1968 when I reported to Pennsylvania Military College to start my college education. He was the very impressive platoon commander of my assigned platoon, wearing his USMC buckle on his leather belt, and using the USMC officer Mameluke sword instead of the US Army one. He heavily influenced me and was responsible for my 21 year later service in the USMC as I always remembered what would LT Aldrich do....? He graduated in 1969, and visited PMC in his USMC officer uniform along with the rest of the ABC boys (Bolton, Childers ) also USMC officers. All impressive. I miss them all. Chris Berg, USMC.
