do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

I Remember

I was on duty the night Lt. Joyce was killed. I was at Phu Loi with him. He was in a tank enroute to rescue C company which had been partially over-run by VC. An RPG took out the tank killing Joyce along with members of the tank crew.

Thank You

Dear Lt William Joyce, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander.
Your 53rd anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Halloween is almost here. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Happy Birthday, Daddy.

I only had you for 5 birthdays. But the most remembered item I have from you is my first birthday letter you sent to me because you were away. It means everything to me. Miss you in our lives.
