IWe were on road security of THOUNG Duc Special Forces Camp. There was a river that ran by it and I remember David showing off his prowness as a gifted swimmer. The platoon was impressed. The next day we were sent on road security and that was the day he was KIA. To family members who read this he showed great dedication to the service of his country. There were two others Ronnie Dean Davis and Jimmy Ferrel Gentry that died that day. I was there with them that day.
