do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Jeff lived across the hall from me in Fletcher Hall freshman year. He loved The Who. He had a Fender bass guitar and a small amp, and after he came home from the bars (The drinking age was 18 then) he would crank up The Who, plug in his guitar and play along. Loved his rock and roll.

BEST FRIEND
Jeff, you were my best friend and I still miss you. I think of you often and every once in a while you appear in my dreams. I remember all the bike rides and adventures, especially the 90 mile ride to Green Lake. I was 12, you were 11 and Tim was 10. Rest In Peace, my friend. I salute you.

Dear PFC Jeffrey Jordan, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Halloween is soon. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
