Lemen Earl

My old high school friend. I remember when you came to visit our class, all dressed up in your class A uniform. You will always be remembered as my friend.

Thank You

Dear Cpl Lemen Jones, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Columbus Day just passed, and we are looking forward to Halloween. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Gone but not forgotten

Lemen I was only 6 years old when you gave the ultimate sacrifice. My family went to the same church, "New Prospect Baptist", as you and your family did. My father said you wore your uniform to church with pride, before going off to Vietnam. My older brother rode the school bus with you. I still remember my family speaking of how your death affected everyone at church, and the community. I thank you for doing what you thought was right, by serving our great country. I pray your spirit is at peace in heaven, with your heavenly family, and fellow comrades. I hope to meet you and shake your hand, when I make the journey.
