Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Dear Lcpl Howard Jones, Thank you for your service as an Engineer Equipment Mechanic. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is actually Columbus Day. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

You relieved me at Khe Sanh, we didn't have a lot of time to together. We had to watch, feel and sense what was happening or what was coming to us. We could not hear it unless it was so close it didn't matter. You made the best decision you could at the time, I'm sorry it did not work. God Bless You and Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice. I got medevacced on 25 Mar 68 from Dong Ha, broken leg and ankle.
