THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

I came across your name as I had a friend last name Johnson who was also KIA. I see you were from Oklahoma which is where I graduated high school from. I also served at the same time you did and fought in the Easter Offensive of 1972, but was way north at Da Nang. My VFW post does a 24 hour vigil once a year and it is approaching. You will be remembered then.

Dear SFC Turner Johnson, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Senior Sergeant. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear SFC Turner Coleman Johnson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
