Dear LCPL Theodore Johnson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

LCPL Johnson, you had been there and done that in Vietnam! You were one brave man who did brave deeds for our America! You fought for the right, without question or pause! You gave all that mortality can give! In your youth and strength...your love and loyalty...you had given all to defend liberty everywhere! Homestead is very proud of you. In strongly and honestly believe that Avonmore's own Jill Corey, whom I admire as one of my three top favorite songbirds of all time, the other two being Julie Andrews, England's musical queen, and Dusty Springfield, another thrush from England who had passed on some years ago, would be very proud of your service to America, and the sacrifices made by you to keep our country free! Theodore, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we enjoy today.
