Remembering Roy Johnson

I MET ROY THE FALL OF 1967. HE HAD JUST COME 4/23 inf. He went out with one of the line companies, I think c company as he was with c co in Jan 68. I was a medic in recon platoon and my replacement came out on the 19th of Jan. Roy wanted my job in recon,so I boarded the chopper to go to cuchi. My replacement was Killed, I had to go back that evening and I took Roy's place in c company. I remember that day on March 25 1968 recon lost a lot of good men that day. I had 2 medics that replaced me both kia in 1968 Odell Spencer and Roy Johnson. I also have good friend who gave his life for me, MY Lord and savior JESUS CHRIST

Thank You

Dear Sp5 Roy Johnson, Thank you for your service as a Medical NCO. Thank you for the lives you saved. I researched you on the 52nd anniversary of the start of your tour. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
