Thank You

Dear PFC John Johnson, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Little John was my friend

I knew him as Little John. He took me under his protection when I was new to Vietnam and shared laughs and food with me .I was the corpsman who examined him laying in that drainage ditch. I also cried while doing so.Not a week has passed during the last 48 years that little John's memory doesn't come to mind.

In Loving Memory

My name is Mrs. Maria A. Johnson Parker. I am PFC John V. Johnson's oldest sister.  Remembering my brother, affectionly known to his family and friends as "Johnny-Boy" is God's way of keeping him in our hearts forever. My brother served in the United States Marine Corps proudly. Giving his life for his country was an enormous sacrifice. As the world around him grew darker while he was on battlefield, God wanted him to walk into the light of spiritual warfare. So he prepared a place for him in his footsteps and pathway into his heavenly kingdom. Job well done proud Marine. This little light of mine will continue to shine everlasting for you.
Love you, your big sister, Maria and brother-in-law, MGYSGT Johnnie Parker, Jr USMC (Ret).
