We went to the same school, (The Woody!) We played baseball on the same team. You were a great ball player Peter. You were an inspiration to me. I looked up to you and I still do. I served in Vietnam from 1970-71 with the First Air Cav., and ASA. I would often think about you and some other friends I had lost. I prayed for all of you and I still do.

I have never forgotten...
Pete was 2 yrs. older than me. We both played baseball in the Dorchester Little League. I've always remembered what a terrific baseball player he was but more important what a great person he was. He went out of his way to encourage me and it gave me the confidence I lacked as a young player. Pete was humble and kind, a brave Marine, the best of men.
