Vietnam Buddies
John and I served in Vietnam together. We were in the same unit. When I left Vietnam I stopped in California in Davis to see his parents. If I'm not mistaken they were both professors at University California at berkeley. For some reason I was looking up his name today after all these years. I am sorry he is no longer with us. If he had family which he did not at the time I want you to know that he was an outstanding person and a great soldier if you ever want to get in touch with me please do. Major US Army retired Charles James 786-853-1351

Served with CPT Barovetto
I was a young platoon leader serving with John at the time of his death. I had immense respect for him as a commander.
