Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Kurt was an RTO in my company and died with a PRC-25 radio on his back. He died because of friendly fire. An account of this firefight and others can be found in the book Xray His Mark, Amazon.com.

Dear Sp4 Kurt Jobst, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on your 51st anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
