The picture of Stephen Jewett on his VVMF Remembrance page shows him in the uniform ("India") of a Cadet at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Steve Jewett was a member of the USMA Class of 1965. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army, joined the 173d Airborne Brigade (Separate) in Okinawa and was assigned to C/2-503 PIR when his Battalion deployed to South Vietnam on 5 May 1965. Remembering Specialist Four Stephen Dyer Jewett on what would've been his 79th birthday - 14 December 2021.

SP4 Stephen Dyer Jewett is buried in the Lake View Cemetery in East Andover, NH.

Dear Sp4 Stephen Jewett, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Indirect Fire Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
