Ground Casualty
SP4 William R. Jennett was an infantryman serving with A Company, 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry, 25th Infantry Division. On April 26, 1968, SP4 Jennett was reportedly clearing a .45 pistol when the weapon accidently discharged, striking him in the head. He was taken to the 45th Surgical Hospital in Tay Ninh where he was pronounced dead.
