You were a strack soldier and the best of my squad. For the last fifty plus years you have been in my thoughts and prayers. RIP my brother.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Slip off that pack, set it down, drop your steel pot and shed those magazine laden bandoliers. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat into the cool breeze right down to your soul and rest forever in the shade of our love, your Vietnam brothers.

Dear Sp4 Robert Jenks, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Operations & Intelligence Specialist. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
