Remembering Carlos A bit of dark history
This year is the 50th anniversary of the death of my Brother PFC Carlos D. Jelks. He was killed in ChuChi Viet Nam February 14th 1966.He left High School to join the Army. You are sorely missed.
The sun still rose in the morning .It did not refuse to shine .Raindrops still drenched the earth.Like a promise from the sky.On the day your life was taken .Mine began to change.A crack in in my heart was crated .And Birds still dared to sing. How can the world be so different .Yet remain the same
The sun still rose in the morning .It did not refuse to shine .Raindrops still drenched the earth.Like a promise from the sky.On the day your life was taken .Mine began to change.A crack in in my heart was crated .And Birds still dared to sing. How can the world be so different .Yet remain the same
