Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Jeff Thomas Barnett, Sr., for your courageous and valiant service, your many years of faithfully contributing, and your most holy sacrifice given to this great country of ours!

Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore Marine, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!

Again, thank you GSGT Jeff Thomas Barnett, Sr., for a job well done!

Dear Jeff, I am a sophomore at Gridley High School, Gridley, Illinois. For my history class we were assigned to post remembrances for those that have died serving our country. I would like to say thank you for sacrificing your life for our country. It really means a lot to me and to your fellow Americans. We are all proud of you for your time and effort that you have put forth. Thank you and God bless! Emily Ringger

This Marine could have retired but yet chose to stay, proably to lead the young men. It takes a gutsy patriot and true American to always put self before others.
