Dear Uncle I didn't get to meet you but I am your great great great niece. I told him to visit you so much and I hear so many good stories about you I hope that one day I'll be able to meet you and talk with you and get to know you more as a person. Words can't even describe how proud I am to be related to you know how proud I am when I say that my uncle served his country with his life in Pride. I can't wait to meet you one day and may you rest in peace.
Love Keyona Jahnke

Thank You

Dear PFC Ronald Jahnke, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer and Labor Day. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Ronald Edward Jahnke, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
