Thank You
Dear PFC Richard Jacobs, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer and Labor Day weekend. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

E lawe mai ana ka ohana a pau (Bringing Family Together)
My Aunty Naomi (Pearl Belva Naomi Jacobs Wood), your Mother, carried a heavy heart of separation from you for a life-time. Your untimely passing obliterated her future hopes and remaining foundation. You need to know she loved you dearly, extremely proud of you, and past choices were made in your best interest. Dear Cousin, you need to know & understand that. She is with you now and it is only fitting you be together here also. Aunty Mileka Lum Ho (hanai mother) was an immeasurable blessing for you. Mahalo ia ?oe no kou hana; thank you for your service.

Aloha Cousin Richard
Aloha Richard - I was only 10 years old when you passed away. Dad had just been assigned to Pearl Harbor on his way to his first tour of duty in Vietnam in 1966 when Mom received news of your passing. I wish I had gotten to know you. We visit you at Punchbowl whenever I'm back in the islands. You are loved and not forgotten. Mahalo dear cousin for your sacrifice in service for our country. Love, your cousin Lorraine.
