THE WALL OF FACES

Mike, we trained together and went to VN together. You were KIA shortly after we got there. I'm 82 years old now and do know how much time I have left. I just wanted to tell you that it was a privilege and an honour to have known you and trained with you. I wanted to say good bye Mike. I will meet you in Heaven. Semper Fi my friend. I lost my best friend in that crazy war, four months before I entered military service. I was one of the lucky ones, I spent four years in the Navy, and was able to return to civilian life, but I have spent a lifetime remembering Mike! I still miss him greatly.
