Remembering Dave
Dave, I have thought of you many times since I last posted . It seems as if in the last few years I think of the war and those I served with more often . I have come to ,think the time we spent in country was a waste of lives , time ,and us . One looks at our country now and can't help but wonder . Your friend Gordon

Uncle David
I was very small when you went away. You were still a constant in my life. Mom, Uncle Larry and Uncle Jimmie told stories of you their whole life’s. That kept you alive for us. Thank you for the love you gave us and know we love you too. Always in our hearts

In Country
Dave , we just had the 55 year reunion of the T J class of 1964 . I have thought of you a number of times . I wish I could have talked to you a little longer the day our paths crossed in country . Had I known it would be the last time I would see you , I would have made my helicopter wait as we talked .
Dave you are remembered ; as there is a notation on your name in this years reunion book of the sacrifice you made for our country and classmates . It is just a simple KIA Vietnam , but to me and the rest of the warriors who know , it says it all .
