We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Phillip Ireland, Thank you for your service an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Phillip Earl Ireland, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Never Forgotten
Phillip was my uncle, the youngest child of Herbert E. Ireland and Bessie Covey Ireland of Trappe, MD and thus, the youngest sibling of my father, N. Leroy Ireland, and his brothers and sisters, Hazel Ireland Willis, Frederic E. Ireland, Frances Ireland Denbeck and J. Samuel Ireland. I was only 6 1/2 yrs. old when he died so I only have a few memories of him. However, each of those memories is filled with fun and laughter! I have no doubt that we would have had a great relationship if he hadn't died so young. I'm extremely proud of his service and sacrifice for his country and I hope he knows how much our family has always loved and missed him. R.I.P. Uncle Phillip <3
