When we were young
You taught me how to throw a baseball, kick a football, scavenge scrap wood to make carts, use a downspout as a launcher for a firecracker, well I could go on. There last image I have of you, is your salute as you left from visiting me at Borromeo right before you shipped out. You signed your letters as brother and we were blood brothers according to old Native American tradition. You asked for Masses and prayers. Those I continue to do. We shall meet again.
