You were so proud driving the APC you refused to get on the chopper that would get you home. I was there with you and have never forgotten you!

Leon, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we have today.

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Without you, we would have lost. America would no longer be safe if you weren't there to save a country. Thank you.

Thank you for your commitment and loyalty to your country even through the bad times. Your courage and sacrifice have not been forgotten. I am a student in Gridley High School U.S. History class, and we want to post remembrances for every person on the virtual wall that does not have one yet, so that we can show our appreciation for your sacrifice and honor you.
