Our Hero In the Wind

Every boy and young man should be privileged to have a great friend like George. In both junior and senior high school, George was a great role model for many of us. We looked up to George, and his influence was great among his peers and classmates. It has been both an honor and joy to be able to visit George's Mother, Maud, from time-to-time. Just today we shared a suitcase full of memories, enjoyed a great lunch and shared stories of George while he was growing up.

My sister, Daveta Gallagher Fields, and I were loaned a great photo of George that we'd never seen, and we are anxious to
share it with the many, many friends of this true hero.

You are our Hero in the Wind, George. You'll never be forgotten, old friend.

In Honor of a TRUE American Hero

In an act of heroism above and beyond the call of duty, this American gave his life so that others might live. We honor his memory and sacrifice by preserving the torch of liberty that has been passed to us.
