do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

A salute to Mr. Roy Ignacio

I remember Roy and the whole family because we lived and grew up in the same place, Waimalu Stable Camp. I am putting that name up in hopes someone in the family could email me since there's no email address for family members. I was in the USMC and went to Vietnam in Dec 1967, and by the Grace of God, I returned back to Hawaii in one piece. All of the Ignacio brothers were older than I, except for Ronald who was close to my age. I believe Ronald joined the Corps because he saw me in uniform one day and was impressed with why I would enlist during war times. It was history after that as the saying goes as Ron became a jarhead.
Again, I salute Mr. Roy Ignacio as well as ALL military for his and their sacrifices for our country! I saw Mr. Ignacio's name on the Vietnam War Memorial, RIP brother! I hope a family member will contact me? Thanks!
