honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

PFC Idle American Hero, Purple Heart . Bravo co. 1/3 Marines
I remember Pfc Idle, he loved being a Marine. Never complained, never showed any fear. I woke up April 30 th 1968, thinking I got 22 days left in nam. We could here the firefight to our north, Lt. Norris ordered Bravo co to saddle up and move out, we moved up to the banks of the Beau Deau River, during the next 3 days some of the finest Marines to ever wear the uniform died in combat, the battle is described in the book ,Magnificent Bastards.
