A neighborhood friend
I remember you and your brothers playing baseball in the street on front of our houses. I was saddened when I heard of your sacrifice. I eventually became a teacher. It was honor to share your story with my 8th graders for over 19 years as we stood at the Wall in Washinton DC and my students etched your name foe their personal notebooks as a way of honoring you. Thank you for your service.

Remembering a Crew Chief
If it were not for Rory's heroism, I would not be here! Although the pilots rotated amongst all of the company's aircraft, Rory's (tail number 956) was one of the best maintained. He was very professional and it has been my honor to have known and flown with him! I still think about him nearly every day even after all these years.
