A Dear Friend

Steve and I enjoyed many lunches and great conversations on the Excelsior High School quad "Flight Deck." A true gentle man. I grieve our loss in your passing. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will always be with us...

Memory of by best friend and blood brother

Fond memories of our growing up together in the 50's.Playing baseball in the vacant lot behind your house to riding our bikes in brush creek shooting at pigeons with our slingshots at pigeon bridge on the way to the plaza.
Then hitting our teenage years living in your upstairs bedroom for the summer and you fixing me up with a blind date (Deedee) Diane B.
I have missed you terribly over the years. Terry.
