After the siege my unit (2/1) stayed at Khe Sanh until it closed. Sometime in May or June I went into a bunker at the airstrip to be alone. I sat against the wall with the entry. I saw something carved in one of the ammo boxes across from me. I knew Bill had been killed on 25 Feb. I sat stunned at what I saw. BILL NAZARETH PA
