Ground Casualty

SP6 Kenneth R. Barkley was a helicopter mechanic serving with B Company, 5th Transportation Battalion, 101st Airborne Division. On March 23, 1969, Barkley was traveling in a truck near Phu Bai in Thua Thien Province, RVN, when he reportedly fell from the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries in the incident.
