A fantastic senior mentor and a wonderful guy.

Tom, I'll always remember the help , guidance. and example you gave me as a 4th class plebe at the Citadel in 1961-62. I left the Citadel after my first year and joined the U.S. Navy Submarine force for six years (I know you tried desperately to get me into the Marine Corps!). Your memory and military example helped me throughout my military tour. I took a picture of your name on the Wall at Arlington. It's been on my desk ever since as a reminder of your spirit. Rest in peace my friend. Semper Fi !
