Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I share the sentiments of Marklin Brown. You were born several weeks after me and died one day after my 20th birthday. I am now 73 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

God Have Mercy on their souls
I am your age, born in '49. I was in Vietnam when you died. I lived on Long Island during High School, I enlisted in the ARMY. We are brothers in this. I lived to become the man. You were cut down before you started. I have a tremendous sadness that you and so many others died while I remain to remember what it was you died for. I've tried to think that those like you who didn't get a chance, may somehow live through me. For those who were genuine and honestly made the wrong decisions that cost you your life, May God Have Mercy on Them. To you, it wasn't right that your life was taken. Hopefully, you are in a better place. Peace.
