My Brother Jimmy

My brother Jimmy always wanted to be a soldier. My father was in the army & he wanted to be just like him. My mother made him a "little soldier" outfit. Jimmy was a hunter, fisherman any sport like that. He was drafted right after his divorce and left a young daughter behind for the army. His first tour of duty was in Germany but he wanted Vietnam. When he reinlisted he got Vietnam but this time he left a German wife and infant in Munich. I was living in Hawaii at the time of his death, he had visited all of our family before leaving. He died from friendly fire which means he was killed by the U.S. Which has always made me angry because he had 2 fatherless daughters. He was loyal to the end, a true patriot. RIP Jimmy, tell Daddy I miss him.
