Honoring Issac Hosaka

On May 16-18, 2025 I will be going on a Honor Flight and I will 2nd time visit "The Wall" and pay homage to my Gardena High School Classmate Issac Hosaka who while in high school told me that was going Vietnam and serve as a helicopter pilot. I will never forget how he wanted to serve his country and fortunately paid the ultimate price. Every time there is a Vietnam memorial event I always pay homage to my classmate Issac Hosaka. I served in the army but fortunate enough not be placed in harms way. Thank you Issace for serving your country...Cory Shiozaki Spec 4 - US Army

Warrant Officer Issac Hosaka

I remember Issac at Gardena High having classes with him. All he ever wanted to after high school was fly helicopters in the Army. I was sadden to hear he didn't make it back. I served in the army and was trained in combat but luckily I was never deployed. I always ask myself why was Issac who was killed and not me. Rest in Peace my friend and you will never be forgotten.

My Friend

Ike was simply a gentleman who was a dear friend. We were together at Hunter Army Airfield in 1970 - 1972 where we lived in The Continental Village apartments before Ike went to Cobra school. I think of him often.
