I have been serving on Carry the Load every Memorial Day weekend in honor or you! I will never forget the phone call my dad, your brother got when they found the remains of you and your crew. Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your daughter Jan is touching and especially meaningful to me as I will be participating in the Reading of the Names ceremony celebrating the 40th anniversary of the dedication of The Wall later this month. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

I think of you often and have peace knowing I will see you again. Every chance I can wave the flag of freedom you fought for I do. Such a sad sacrifice of so many lives and for what outcome? Does anyone know? No! I hold onto my memories of you growing up and cherish the airplanes you built with Dad when you were growing up.
