Love never dies

My dearest Jerry...50 yrs now since we said goodbye as you boarded ship in Norfolk Va. I promised I would wait for you then on Sept 16th 1967 it became your turn to wait for me when you were killed in action in Vietnam. I love you and always will. That last day together plays over and over in my thoughts and dreams, as well as the songs.
