PFC Edward Lee Hoover served with Company A, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Amphibious Force. He was killed by enemy rocket/mortar fire at Phu Tai Village, near the Cua Viet River (Coffelt Database).
