Bronze Star Medal Award
Staff Sergeant Bernard P Hoopii Jr was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor for his exemplary courage under fire. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to B Co. 2nd Bn, 27th Infantry, 25th Infantry Div.
