Thank you brave soldier
Not only am I proud of you for fighting and sacrificing your life during the Vietnam War, but also because you fought for those whom you did not know, you fought for the greater cause. You didn’t have an obligation to be there, but you went anyway, out of kindness, loyalty and determination. I praise you for that. I regret that you weren’t able to see the outcome of this war, but I want you to know that your memory lives on. I remember on this day, brave soldier. Rest in Peace.
I write this to you as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project; from Gridley High School, Gridley, IL, where I am a student.
