thank you for serving

Dear Alan,
Thank you for serving our country because of you and the so many others who fought beside you, many lives have been changed. In school our teacher showed us the news in the morning, I saw that you finally got to come home and be laid to rest. Again thank you for serving our country, and for risking your life to try and make others better.
