Thank You

Dear Sp4 Timothy Holster, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Yesterday was Independence Day, and there is no better time to honor you. Please watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you Sir!

The name Timothy Holster is indelibly marked in my conscience. In 1966 I was in the 8th grade and my teacher was Mr Lawrence Murphy and I remember at the beginning of class Mr Murphy held a moment of silence and announced his former student Timothy was KIA. He spoke very highly of Mr Holster and it left quite an impression on this hound man. Never forget!

Remembering an American Hero

Dear SP4 Timothy Holster, sir,

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for the ultimate sacrifice that you made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. And please know that men and women like you have stepped forward to defend our country yet again, showing the same love for country and their fellow Americans that you did- you would be proud.

With respect, and the best salute that a civilian can muster for you.

Curt Carter

Do not weep

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.
